WHO WE ARE


Elizabeth Shreve is the former vice president, director of publicity for Henry Holt and Company in New York, and has been in publishing for 15 years. Shreve joined Henry Holt in 1997 from Vintage Books where she was publicity manager. Prior to Vintage, Shreve held positions in the publicity departments of Dutton Plume, Counterpoint Press, and Farrar, Straus & Giroux, Inc., where she began her career in publishing.

Shreve has worked with such notable authors as former Vice President Al Gore and Tipper Gore; Pulitzer Prize-winning authors Rick Atkinson and Caroline Elkins; bestselling authors Barbara Ehrenreich, Salman Rushdie, Joyce Carol Oates, Paul Auster, Tony Horwitz, Atul Gawande, Diane Johnson, and Sue Grafton.

She lives and works in Washington, D.C.

 




Suzanne Williams is a fifteen year veteran of the publishing industry and the former director of publicity for Pantheon Books, an imprint of Random House, Inc. Williams began her career at Farrar, Straus and Giroux, Inc. in New York in 1992, and, after a year at Pocket Books/Simon & Schuster, joined Pantheon as a senior publicist in 1996.

Over the course of her career, the authors with whom Williams has worked include Nobel Prize winner Toni Morrison; Pulitzer Prize-winner Art Spiegelman; National Book Award winners Ha Jin and Julia Glass; bestselling authors Anne Lamott, Alexander McCall Smith, and Marjane Satrapi; National Book Award-nominated novelists Charles Baxter and Alan Lightman; former U.N. Chief Weapons Inspector Hans Blix; political and social commentator Angela Davis; and former SEC Chair Arthur Levitt.

She lives outside of New York City.

Kate Pruss Pinnick joined Shreve Williams as associate director of publicity in January 2008. She was previously an associate director of publicity at Harper Collins Publishers in New York. Pinnick has also held positions in the publicity departments of Henry Holt and Company, Oxford University Press and Basic Books, where she began her career in publishing in 2000. Pinnick has worked with such authors as former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former CIA director George Tenet; bestselling authors Douglas Brinkley, Robert Dallek, Thomas Frank, Phillip Margolin, Noam Chomsky, Linda Greenhouse, Andrew Sullivan and Peter Beinart; as well as Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anthony Shadid and National Book Award winner Kevin Boyle.

Pinnick works in the Chicago area.

Sarah Klenakis is a publicist with Shreve Williams Public Relations and has been with the company (formerly Elizabeth Shreve Public Relations) since 2006. She began her career in publishing and publicity at Henry Holt and Company in New York City, and recently served as Volunteer and Introduction Coordinator for George Mason University's 2007 Fall for the Book Festival. She is currently pursuing her MFA in creative nonfiction from George Mason University. The writers with whom she has worked include bestselling authors Clark Howard and Susan Casey; Max Apple, X.J. Kennedy, Jed Rubenfeld, Liz Perle, Tony Hendra, Caroline Moorehead, and Rosemary Daniell.

Sarah is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
